The Boston Area Guild of Puppetry has had a busy year! This summer we had an outdoor gathering at the home of one of our members, Kurt Staven, where we shared projects and saw a great presentation by Cactushead Puppets. Our meeting in September featured a program by Sarah Nolen, Resident Artist at Puppet Showplace Theater, talking about her multi-faceted show The Fairy Tailor.
Our next gathering is Sunday November 23, 6:00 PM at Puppet Showplace Theater, 32 Station Street, Brookline, MA. Our special event for the evening is a puppet materials swap and auction! Everyone can bring any puppets, fabric, art supplies or books that could use a new home, and we’ll auction them off to support our guild. Last time we did this, there were some great bargains.
