Potluck supper and party, all members and new members invited. Enjoy food and fun with fellow puppeteers, and bring a puppet if you like. Performers wanted for the Potpourri (short puppet performances), contact John Lechner if you have questions.
The Boston Area Guild of Puppetry meets several times a year to share projects and feedback, and to watch inspiring puppet theater. Our next meeting is March 11th at the Puppet Showplace Theatre.

The Incubator...
Where great ideas are hatched!
Are you working on a project, but can't get to that important next step? Do you have a great idea for a puppet show, but just don't know where to begin? The Incubator is a casual group that meets at the Puppet Showplace, to foster and encourage the development of creative ideas of emerging artists, veteran puppeteers, teachers, and puppet enthusiasts in a casual, informal environment. All ideas are welcome and show and tell is encouraged. For more information, click here.

If you don't have yours yet, come to the meeting to purchase your very own T-Shirt and support the guild! You can also contact Alice Schaefer, 27 Waverley Avenue, Newton, MA 02458 to cost $15.00 each (plus $2 if you want it mailed to you). The shirts were designed by guild member John Lechner.

Puppet Slam is an evening of short, theatrical mini-plays for adults that use (or sometimes abuse) puppets for all or part of the drama. The performers range from the seasoned professional to the nascent puppeteer, and often include poets, musicians, dancers, mimes, actors, and other sundry affiliated artists.

The PofA Regional Festival features performances, workshops, seminars, exhibit and more! BAGOP members are needed to volunteer and help (you get a discount on the registration fee.)
